| Buell Air Horns
|While horns are required by law, we believe most under-estimate their importance. The investment in horns, that can really be heard, is well worth it. |
|These are Buell triple horns. When you need to be heard, Buell comes through. When that sailboat on your port side starts to change tack, for no apparent reason other than to cut in-front of your bow, blow these. He will think a freighter is on him and change course. You can wave at him as you power by.
|When I was a kid, my uncle had a set of these on his boat. He had obtained his set off of a large yacht that had sunk. When Uncle Melbourne blew his horns, the entire marina was in awe. Patrons of the marina would get him to blow his horns for their friends who had not heard them before. Everyone knew how great the horns were but few knew that they were Buell Trumpets. I did! |
Now we have a set of our own, for our dream boat. These horns provide a lot of "Bling" for the buck. I will give these to Pat so he can mount them and insure a special place on the custom mast.
|Final installation of the Buell horns on the mast. We love these horns!
