Master Stateroom >> Varnish Project Description

Satin Varnish

All of the drawers and door have been removed to have a 1" radius put on the edges. We will then sand all the teak and varnish with gloss.
Rusty ran all of the drawer fronts and cabinet doors through his shaper. Next, I will sand and varnish while he ribs me about not being done.

San, Sand, Sand

Seven companionway and cabinet doors and drawers from the VIP and Master Staterooms. This is a lot of work!
Sanded cabinet doors and drawers are varnished in this well lit room.

Glossing

Another photograph. There are a lot of parts to this project! The edges that were shapped will need a second coat of varnish.
One side has been varnished and waiting to dry before turning and varnishing the other side of these companionway doors.

Gloss Makes the Difference

The gloss varnish makes a big difference in this room. It also seems easier to clean.
